Based in Aberystwyth, Wheel Together is an inclusive cycling charity run entirely by volunteers. Established in 2019, the charity provides regular escorted rides throughout the year using a wide range of bikes and tricycles, enabling people of all abilities to experience the joy and freedom of cycling.
Since its founding, Wheel Together has grown into a recognised and respected community initiative. In 2023, the charity received the Supporting People Award (Gwobr Cefnogi Pobl) from Menter Aberystwyth Gwobrau Cyntaf Aber First Awards. This was followed by achieving Limitless Focus Club status from British Cycling in 2024, and in 2025, becoming officially affiliated with Ystwyth Cycling, further strengthening their commitment to inclusivity and community engagement.
The Challenge
Wheel Together approached Impact IT Solutions to design and build their first-ever website, one that truly reflected their inclusive values and community spirit. The key priorities were accessibility, simplicity, and creating an engaging platform to showcase partnerships and support fundraising efforts.
