We’re proud to announce that Impact IT Solutions is now an accredited Living Hours Employer, building on our existing commitment as an accredited Living Wage Employer.
Living Hours accreditation, awarded by the Living Wage Foundation, recognises employers that are committed not only to fair pay, but also to providing secure and predictable working hours.
What is Living Hours accreditation?
Living Hours is designed to give employees greater certainty around when and how much they work.
The standard includes commitments such as:
- At least four weeks’ notice of shifts
- Guaranteed payment where shifts are cancelled at short notice
- Contracts that reflect the hours people regularly work
- A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week for employees who want them
These measures are designed to help people plan their finances, commitments and personal lives with greater confidence.
Building on Our Living Wage Commitment
Impact IT Solutions became an accredited Living Wage Employer in 2025, committing to paying the independently calculated real Living Wage.
Living Hours takes that commitment further.
Fair employment isn’t only about hourly pay. Secure and predictable working arrangements also play an important role in financial stability, wellbeing and work-life balance.
For us, the principle is simple: good employment should provide both fair pay and security.
Why It Matters to Us
Our people are central to everything we do.
Whether we’re delivering managed IT, cyber security, compliance, AI services or website development, the quality of our service depends on having a skilled, supported and motivated team.
Becoming a Living Hours Employer reflects our wider commitment to creating a positive working environment built around fairness, stability and long-term development.
We’re proud to join other UK employers choosing to support both the real Living Wage and secure working hours.
